POWER OF ATTORNEY
to use a motor vehicle

Vehicle
1.The Principal is the [owner and registered holder / registered holder / owner] of the following motor vehicle:

(hereinafter the “Vehicle”).
2.[ak splnomocniteľ nie je vlastníkom vozidla (napr. pri leasingu):] The owner of the Vehicle is [name or company name, company ID] (the “Owner”). The Principal declares that granting this power of attorney does not conflict with the agreement under which the Principal uses the Vehicle and that the Owner’s consent to the use of the Vehicle by the Agent has been obtained where that agreement requires it.

Scope of authority
4.The Principal hereby consents to the Agent using and driving the Vehicle on public roads and authorises the Agent to perform the acts set out in this power of attorney.

6.[pri splnomocnení do odvolania:] This power of attorney is granted for an indefinite period until revoked by the Principal.
7.[len na Slovensku:] The Agent may use the Vehicle in the territory of the Slovak Republic.
8.[na Slovensku a v štátoch EÚ:] The Agent may use the Vehicle in the territory of the Slovak Republic and of the other Member States of the European Union.
9.[na Slovensku a vo vymenovaných štátoch:] The Agent may use the Vehicle in the territory of the Slovak Republic and of the following countries: [list of countries].
10.[nepovinné – konanie pri kontrolách:] The Agent is authorised to act on behalf of the Principal during checks of the Vehicle by police, customs, border and other public authorities in the Slovak Republic and abroad, to present the Vehicle documents and to give explanations concerning the Vehicle.
11.[nepovinné – riešenie nehody:] In the event of a traffic accident, damage to or theft of the Vehicle, the Agent is authorised on behalf of the Principal to complete and sign the accident report, to report the event to the police and to the insurer and to take the steps necessary to protect the Vehicle. The Agent is not authorised to accept any insurance payment.
12.[nepovinné – oprava a odťah do limitu:] The Agent is authorised on behalf of the Principal to order and accept necessary repairs, maintenance or towing of the Vehicle, provided that the price in each individual case does not exceed [amount]. The Agent shall inform the Principal of each such order without undue delay.
Conditions of use
13.When driving the Vehicle, the Agent shall carry the vehicle registration certificate Part I (osvedčenie o evidencii časť I) and the certificate of motor third-party liability insurance (Green Card), which the Principal hands over to the Agent for this purpose.
14.The Agent is not authorised to sell, donate, lease, lend or otherwise make the Vehicle available to any third party, to encumber or pledge it, to make any changes in the vehicle register or to grant a power of attorney to another person. The Vehicle may not be used for the carriage of persons or goods for remuneration.
15.[nepovinné – náhrada pokút a nákladov:] By accepting this power of attorney, the Agent acknowledges being responsible for compliance with road traffic rules while using the Vehicle and undertakes to reimburse the Principal for any fines, tolls, parking fees and other costs imposed on or charged to the Principal as owner or holder of the Vehicle as a result of the Agent’s conduct.
16.[len pri dvoch vodičoch:] Each of the Agents is entitled to act independently.
17.The Principal may revoke this power of attorney at any time. Upon expiry or revocation of this power of attorney, the Agent shall return the Vehicle, its keys and documents to the Principal without undue delay.
18.This power of attorney is governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, in particular Sections 31 to 33b of the Civil Code.
